DXD Skills privacy policy

Information used and its purpose

When you invoke a skill, your agent may process the information needed for your request: prompts, source code, project files, documents, session history, browser content, and tool results. These materials may contain personal information, such as names, email addresses, or information you include in a document. Skills use this information to carry out the requested engineering, design, research, or writing task.

Some workflows create local reports, session exports, screenshots, or network captures. Network captures can contain authentication or personal information; the relevant skill requires redaction before analysis or sharing. Do not include secrets or unnecessary personal information in material you ask an agent to process.

Design X Develop does not receive your prompts, project files, or tool results through a collection service built into this plugin. The plugin does not add tracking, advertising, or a sale of personal information.

Agent hosts and other recipients

Your chosen agent host and model provider process inputs and tool results under their own privacy policies and your account settings. Using a hosted model can send local content to that provider; installing this plugin does not make a hosted agent run entirely on your device.

Depending on your request and the tools you enable, a skill may interact with services such as GitHub, Paper, or a website's API. Those services receive the information needed for that interaction. For example, publishing code sends it to the selected Git remote, and a design task may use a connected design service. The host's permissions and approval controls continue to apply. These providers govern their own processing and retention.

Storage and retention

DXD Skills has no separate database or DXD-operated storage for your task data, so Design X Develop does not retain a copy through the plugin. Files and reports created in your workspace remain until you remove them. Temporary exports may remain until the workflow or your system deletes them; the plugin does not provide automatic deletion for every artifact.

Conversation records, model inputs, and data sent to connected services are retained according to those providers' policies and your settings. Design X Develop does not control or promise a retention period for those records.

Your controls

You can choose which skills to invoke, which workspace and files the agent can access, and which tools or service connections to enable. Review proposed changes and external actions through your host's approval controls. You can remove local reports and exports, disconnect tools, or uninstall the plugin. Use the relevant provider's controls to manage or delete data held by your agent host, model provider, or connected service.

Information you send in a support request is used to respond to that request and is handled by the support channel you choose; do not send passwords or authentication tokens.
